Hi, I am pleased to announce Harvest-1.9.8. This ia a development version. What's new: * Updated to qdbm 1.4.5. * Updated to idzebra 1.3.10. The modeling of data for Zebra isn't finished yet. There are problems in SOIF input filter. This will cause parts of document attributes not indexed correctly, so that it can't be found. You also will see parts of raw SOIF data in some result summaries. This will be fixed as soon as possible. This release marks a significant improvement in terms of scalability: - Zebra performs well even with around 7GB of data. Results for queries are displayed typically under a second. A bug in Zebra prevented indexing more than around 7GB of data. Adam already fixed this bug and a new version of Zebra is planned for this week. - Mikio has added support for databases larger than 2GB for the GDBM api layer of QDBM. There are some minor tweaks necessary to use this feature which I plan to make for next release. This will allow to have large gatherers on 32BIT systems. You can test the new system by pointing your browser to: http://your.server/Harvest/brokers/zquery/ As always, I appreciate any feedback.
